Tonight is the first rehearsal for my first paying gig in Portland. I was lucky enough to be offered the percussion position for West Side Story, the first production to be performed at the New Armory Theater in the Pearl District. It's going to keep me out of trouble for a little while as it's 9 services a week until November 12th. I'm excited, nervous and ready to pay back some of my college tuition. Are you ready to rock?...... and by rock I mean play a musical.
