First off, the trip to California and subsequent audition went well except for;
- I lost 5th gear about halfway there.
- My Motel 6 neighbor got busted by the cops at 3am.
- I didn't get the job.
I played some golf with my Dad and he beat me, again.
I had a lovely Christmas with my family, including my brother and his girlfriend, whom he hasn't talked to since.
Kristy turned 26, despite this I'm still older and wiser.
My Dad, who was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer in September, which eventually spread despite the radiation and chemo treatments, passed away on March 9th with my Mom, brother and myself at his side. It was the day it snowed. He left us entirely too early and sometimes I get angry about all the things he's going to miss, or maybe the things I'm going to miss. I couldn't have asked for a better dad and I know you're looking after us, with the exception of my golf game, which has taken a drastic turn for the worst. I love you Dad. Here's a sweet picture of my parents dancing, before I was born.

I took a couple weeks off from school and when I returned I had assloads of homework and practicing to make up, somehow I got straight A's for the term. Apparently the more school I miss the better I do.
Ate the best fish & chips on the West Coast.
Conquered my senior recital.
Now I'm trying to knock out my last remaining degree requirements, the dreaded "Mega Exam" and the aural skills "Barrier Exam", find a job in Portland, find a place to live, figure out what I want to do with my life, save the world, be a better person and get married to Kristy, who makes me the happiest guy alive. All this by August 12th.
