A few things have transpired since my last blog and I'll try to sum it up to keep everyone up to date (by everyone I mean myself). The show I played with Ian Mouser at Lola's Room in June was pretty awesome, it felt good to play a nice venue again and it's always good times with Ian.

Kristy and I went on a whirlwind road trip to South Dakota and back to see my brother. We got to see among other things; 10ft sturgeon at Bonneville Dam, Craters of the Moon National Monument, The Grand Tetons, bears, bison, elk, wolves, waterfalls and steamy geysers in Yellowstone, beautiful country in Northern Wyoming, Deadwood (including the bar Wild Bill got killed), Mt. Rushmore, The Badlands, The infamous Wall Drug Store, hiked to the top of Harney Peak, got a full tour of Ellsworth AFB, saw too much of Montana, talked with weird people in Wallace, ID, and returned home somewhat unscathed in just over a week.

Enjoyed the annual Banks 4th of July extravaganza followed the next day by Dan Gruber's bachelor party followed the following day by Dan being officially wed to Ava. Congratulations to you both, I wish you all the best.

You can check out pictures of all these great events on Facebook, which I've reluctantly joined thanks to Paul creeping me out.

PS. My stress fracture is still hanging on. It was actually feeling pretty good until I tweaked it during the 4th of July badminton action/5th of July bachelor party. I'm now on a modified training program that will allow me to finish the Portland marathon come October 5th, I won't set any records but I'm going to finish that puppy.

I like how I get blamed for Facebook.

I want to see you and Ian rock out again, so keep me posted on dates when you guys get to pretend to be rockstars.

Aaaand... I hope you don't die running the marathon. Guess I'm going it alone next year.
