Scooter Store

Two blogs in one day, have you lost your mind? maybe. I've got some good news and some bad news on the marathon training front. The good news is I still have two legs. The bad news is I think I have a stress fracture in my right leg. This could put me out of commission for a while but I won't let it detour me from the ultimate goal of finishing that marathon. If it takes a scooter from the scooter store to get it done then so be it. I'll be visiting the doctor tomorrow to get an official diagnosis and recovery strategery.

Whiskers has Wings

Farewell to Whiskers. Last night Louie, my neighbor, came running to the front door at 10pm to tell Kristy and I that Whiskers, Louie's cat, was no more. Apparently Whiskers had gotten into the dryer and said dryer was turned on for approximately 30 minutes before it was stopped due to a "strange noise". I'll spare everyone the details that we weren't, but surprisingly the cat didn't make it. I just wanted to say thanks to Louie for making ice cream, which I was eating at the time, taste bad for the first time in my 28 years on the planet.
